Stanage Edge - as you've never heard it before
Country Walking has commissioned Britain's most popular poet, Ian McMillan, to write a poem about iconic Stanage Edge in the Peak District.
The Bard of Barnsley's exclusive poem appears in the December issue of the magazine, which sees four artists (a photographer, painter, sketcher and poet) explore new ways of seeing the giant gritstone cliff. It's part of a feature that aims to help all us walkers who return tongue-tied at the end of a magnificent walk, unable to explain or describe just how special the day has been.

Sorry, but what a waste of bandwidth! If you are going to do a podcast at least make it worth listening to. Nice enough poem, but you are missing the point of what audio can do for the outdoor walker. I love listening to the radio and various outdoor podcasts have opened my eyes to my enjoyment. However, if this is the most informative and creative as EMAP can get, don't do it!!!
